Once upon a time...

This half term our topic is "Once upon a time". We have been reading fairy tales and stories about magic and far away lands.

We have been learning "Room on the Broom" as our talk 4 writing text. We have been retelling the story in lots of different ways using story maps, actions, role play and small world play. We love the part when the animals emerge from the bog and scare the Dragon away!

We have been creating our own magic spells and making potions in our magic shop! We have been practicing writing lists of ingredients using our sounds and letter formations.
